MATCH

MATCH-list peptide payment processing

MATCH is the list Mastercard's acquirers use when a merchant account is terminated for reasons the network requires them to report. A peptide business can be listed after a processor shutdown. PeptideApprove can be asked to review a file. It does not advertise MATCH processing as available, and it does not advertise it as impossible. The decision is underwriting, partner appetite, and the reason for the listing. The glossary defines the list. This page is about what a peptide merchant should expect from a review.

What to gather

Do not send card numbers. The definition of the file is on What is the MATCH list?.

  • The closure letter from the prior processor.
  • Whether you were told a MATCH entry was filed.
  • The legal entity and principal information that match that closure.
  • Current website and product descriptions.

What a review is not

A review is not a clearing service, not a guarantee of a new MID, and not legal advice. Some acquirers decline listed merchants immediately. If PeptideApprove reviews a file, the ordinary rules still apply: complete documents, product posture, and approval by the acquiring bank.

Questions

Underwriting

Why would a peptide merchant be declined or delayed?

Common reasons are incomplete documents, website claims that do not match a research-use-only posture, unresolved compliance questions, or a risk profile the program cannot sponsor.

A delay is often missing information rather than a decision. Approval depends on KYC/KYB, product category, chargeback history, and program rules.

What should a merchant do after a processor shuts the account down?

Save the closure notice, stop assuming the old checkout will keep working, and apply with current business documents if you want PeptideApprove to review the file.

A shutdown is not the same thing as a MATCH listing. Ask the prior processor whether a MATCH entry was filed. Do not send card numbers or customer card data with the application.

MATCH

What is MATCH?

MATCH is Mastercard's terminated-merchant file. Acquirers report certain closures, and later banks can see that a business or its principals were listed.

The glossary page explains the list. Being listed is serious. It is not described on this site as an automatic lifetime ban from every program, and it is not described as something PeptideApprove clears.

Can MATCH-listed merchants obtain payment processing?

Some high-risk programs will review a listed merchant and some will not. PeptideApprove does not promise processing for MATCH-listed businesses.

A review, if one is offered, depends on the reason for the listing, the documents, and partner appetite. Bring the termination paperwork. Approval remains subject to underwriting.
